Why Use a Career and Life Coach? Do any of these situations pertain to you or someone you know?
As a coach it is my job to be your NUMBER ONE SUPPORTER. Professional athletes make it to the pinnacle of their career with help. Why shouldn’t you reap the same benefits as some of the best performers we know? I have been helping people reach success through mentoring and teaching for years. Let me use the best of those skills and coaching skills to help you decide what really matters to you and chart the course on how to achieve it. I know there is something out there that is just beyond your reach. Isn’t it time to do what it takes to step to the next level in your life? | Back to Top | Not sure coaching is for you? Try it out and see if it will make a difference in your life. Start by taking advantage of a FREE 30 minute coaching session. This offer is extended to anyone who wants to schedule the time to make a change. All coaching sessions are conducted over the phone. Individual coaching is conducted in three 50-60 minutes sessions per month for three months initially and can continue for as long as desired after that. Group coaching for 4-6 individuals is conducted twice a month for 70-75 minutes per session for three months initially and can continue for as long as the group desires. | Back to Top | Coaching is about having someone on your side. Someone with an outside perspective to bounce ideas off and get the encouragement and support that you need to ask more of yourself and to accomplish what you really want more easily. And we are talking about what YOU want -- not what you should want or somebody else thinks you should want. Coaching helps you to focus, clarify and take action. It is an adult to adult relationship in which I will support you in being responsible for your own life choices. This includes supporting you in disregarding any of my suggestions or requests if you choose to do so. Coaching is not therapy although that can have a useful role to play at different times. If you are in a lot of emotional pain or caught up with past issues then you may like to consult a professional therapist. Coaching is more concerned with taking appropriate action in the present time so as to create the life or business success that you choose. | Back to Top | Because each professional coach has his or her own style of coaching clients, I thought that you would be interested in knowing how I coach, what I expect of my clients and what my clients can expect of me. I expect your best. If you are hiring me, then you’re probably ready to do your best. And if you aren’t doing your best, I’ll ask you to. If you can’t do that at the moment, I’ll understand and do what you need to be heard and helped back onto your path. I make direct request. From time to time, I’ll make a binding enquiry, like “Will you accomplish X by the end of the month?” You may say yes, say no, or offer another solution. I’ll make you right whichever way you respond. I don’t step over much. When I hear a funny tone in your voice or notice something amiss, I’ll ask you about it. Often, it is these small moments that offer the chance to resolve something. However, I don’t confront or push; I’ll merely invite you to look at something You are expected to use me, not depend on me. As your coach, I am a resource for you to use to your best advantage. I have an almost unlimited amount of love, compassion, forgiveness and strength for you and I can share many principles that will increase your success and add to the quality of your life. I ask that my clients use me as this resource and the friend that I am, but not to let themselves get into the position of needing me as a dependency thing or a fix. I am here. I want to hear it all. If you have a personal problem, are disturbed with something (even me or the coaching), are just starting to realize something big, or can’t wait to share a shift or win, call or e-mail me. Anytime. I share what I’m sensing from my clients. I intuit, point stuff out, and tell the truth if it needs to be looked at. I tell my clients what I think is going on. I provide words for what I see going on. I help them to label these things, so they can see the events, situation or problem objectively. I ask my clients to do more than they would do on their own. I like to stretch them when the timing is right. I sense and share the next evolutionary step for my clients. I listen for missing distinctions and for shifts that the client is ready to make. I look for the next step of a progression. | Back to Top | How To Make The Most Of The Sessions Spend some time preparing for the session, reviewing what has happened, where you are now and what you want next. The client prep form will help you to do that and you are requested to send it to me so that I receive it 24 hours before the session. Things to talk about during the session include: HOW YOU ARE | Back to Top | I Believe In You: The Coach's Credo
Here's What Others Have Said:"I did not fully appreciate the benefits of coaching until after my first coaching session with Linda. Linda is amazing in how she was able to help me focus and clarify my thoughts and desires with her very simple questions. She has a lifetime of experiences and expertise in many areas that she easily taps into when she needs to provide direction. I would be so energized and inspired after my coaching sessions with her. She also follows up to get information for you that you are looking for. Her mission is your success. I highly recommend Linda if you are looking for a coach." Gita Patel – Etna, NH
"I would recommend Linda to anyone who wishes to move forward through the support of a coach. Linda will provide you with the encouragement and burning questions necessary to take you from where you are, today, to where you wish to go in the future." Marjorie Geiser – Running Springs, CA
